I'm not sure exactly when this "rediscover Sears" sign is from, perhaps post-COVID or perhaps one of the several times they tried to convince people they were bouncing back (remember when they actually reopened a few random stores for a year or two?), but it's a bit ironic right next to the store closing signage. (On the other hand, it might have actually been a recent thing, considering that appliances, apparel, and tools were pretty much the only categories Sears had left at this point!) On the plus side, they actually put up some holiday decorations, and the mannequin on the left (next to the blood tree) was in seasonally-appropriate clothing.
