This whole side of the store looks quite a bit like the old Port Angeles Albertsons, including the alcove next to the meat counter. But, oddly, this store uses the alcove for meats, rather than cosmetics as I'm used to seeing. The cases over here look fairly new (especially the coffin coolers), so I'm guessing this was changed at some point, maybe even in the Safeway conversion.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the giant "no storage in corridor" sign, especially since there doesn't seem to be a corridor in sight (other than the actionways and aisles, and if that's what the sign meant, I guess no one was paying attention considering all of the displays scattered around!).

By corridor, I think they mean that wall with the sign on it since there is a fire exit door next to it. I'm guessing someone at Albertsons or Safeway had a display up there at one time and the fire marshal (spelled as 'marshall' on the sign for some reason) disapproved of it. Knowing Safeway, they likely would have put a day old bread or clearance item rack there!
