I visited this store in mid-2020, in the height of the pandemic, at which point it appears that Safeway's removal of bulk foods was still intended to be temporary -- they still had the full bulk foods display here, just filled with pre-packaged items instead. They even still had the scale and bag holder set up in the middle of the stand. Beyond that is the juice section (again with a poorly-placed decor transition in the middle of it), with a weird soffit jutting out that looks like it should be part of a service department (but which is probably just a remnant of this store's long history of remodels and additions).
