Albertsons stores with this design would normally have the entryway under the big gable, but this store just has a blank wall there, which looks rather awkward. The exterior remodel retained the older layout with entrance doors on each side of the store. On the plus side, the Safeway logo doesn't look too awkward here, unlike on some Albertsons conversions.
By the way, sorry for the lack of posts last night -- the power was out for me for most of the evening!
