Most of the area previously used for housewares was completely blocked off at this point, with empty shelves serving as a barricade. Probably around half of the upper level was blocked off at this point, and it was seemingly being left completely empty, not even being used for extra storage as I had seen on some visits (the extra stock of boxed appliances was just out on the salesfloor, as you can see in the background of the last couple pictures).
