When this store opened, it must have had a huge egg selection, all housed in these weird 4-sided bottomless cases with rolling racks. I've seen similar cases elsewhere, but they were never a common thing, and I'm not entirely sure where all of the mechanical equipment normally housed in the bottom of refrigerated cases is here. At some point, this store obviously went down to a more normal quantity of eggs, leaving the larger of the two cases to be used for random promotional displays. (On this visit, it was filled with things that could reasonably be refrigerated, but that's not always the case, so I assume this one is no longer operational.)
