While parts of the mall are extremely 70s, the new food court is very 2020s! There are so many trends packed into this space -- dark ceilings, shapes with curved corners, funky-shaped LED fixtures, fake marble, snake plants... it has it all. I don't necessarily dislike this style (apart from the dark ceiling), but it's not going to be long before it starts to look dated. And if the plants are real, it probably won't be too long before the mall managers decide they don't want to maintain them any longer. (Though who knows, they do have plenty of "harvested" rainwater to use!)
