The actionway dividing the normal aisles from the sideways ones was also lined with summertime stuff, including some seriously expensive patio furniture. Seriously, if I'm going to spend that much money on furniture, it's definitely not going to be from Safeway! The angled-arrow category marker things along the actionway, seemingly acting as supplements to the aisle markers, are another weird touch; I can't think of anywhere else I've visited with bonus aisle markers like these. Perhaps they were intended to make the sideways-aisle setup a little less confusing.
