Over by the main entrance, Sears had put up some more new christmas decor -- red ribbons on the ceiling. (And speaking of the ceiling, it looks like they had finally done some basic maintenance around the time of this visit, replacing dead lightbulbs and cleaning the ceiling tiles up a bit -- long overdue, but still a little surprising for Sears!) It's quite weird walking into the main entrance of a department store, even Sears, and seeing something other than clothes/fashion items surrounding the entrance.
The poster on the left reminded me that another Sears thing quietly died recently -- my parents still had a Sears Shop Your Way credit card for some reason, but it was shut down and replaced by a generic Citi card late last year.
