Yum, fresh Italian pasta

The back wall (of the current store; it definitely looks like the original space would have continued through those arches) is home to the refrigerated food section. I'm not sure if the vents sticking up out of the floor are for the refrigeration system or for general HVAC, but they're certainly an interesting look! I guess they couldn't run anything through the ceiling like you normally see due to the historic architecture. 

Notice the employees stocking the shelves in the background. Right after I walked by them, one of them dropped a glass bottle of balsamic vinegar and it went everywhere. I felt so bad for them...
