The whole time I've been writing this set, there's been a thought rattling around the back of my mind that the wood paneling here reminded me of something specific. I finally managed to figure it out today: The narrow slats and dark stain remind me of the type of paneling you often see in a sauna! And I think the random water stains add to that effect somehow. Or maybe I just don't have enough to talk about, who knows! 😃
