On this visit, a small section was covered up due to work going on on the roof (hopefully to properly fix the many, many leaks this mall has developed), giving an interesting view of what the stained glass looks like without backlighting. Some malls look particularly cool after dark, but this confirms that this mall would just look boring. (Not that that's surprising, since stained glass always needs light to work.)
