Open?

 

My 2022 visit was back when I was still very much into this hobby (not like today), and could easily spend whole days wandering around and photographing stores. So nothing seemed out of the ordinary about swinging by this mall at 6:30 in the evening (heck, I had probably lost track of time and didn't realize how late it was), and when I got to the entrance, the "Open" sign was lit and the doors opened for me, so I walked right in. It took a while before I realized that all of the shops seemed to be closed down and there was hardly anyone around. On the way out, I glanced at the hours and found that Coquitlam Centre closes at 6 on Sundays! Oops! 

I've made some comments before about that time I visited a mall when it wasn't supposed to be open. Well, there's the whole story! Thankfully it wasn't a very exciting story -- I cut my visit here short, but I was still able to get a decent, if abbreviated, tour, and no one ever said anything to me about it. Still, I wasn't ever fully satisfied with my pictures, both because I had to skip parts of the mall and because (just like with International Village) my old phone couldn't really handle the lighting conditions here.
