As I mentioned earlier, this mall was originally +-shaped, but the north wing was expanded not long after the initial construction, nearly doubling the mall's footprint. The new part was built with a gabled roof over the main concourse, matching the shape of the original roof, but with a very different aesthetic (as you can see from all the way over here).
