Into the tunnel

The mall's designers don't seem to have been particularly concerned with first impressions -- all of the entrances in the original part of the building drop you into these weird little corridors, which then lead into the grand concourse. And speaking of weird, off to the left is a giant (and surprisingly modern) travel agency office -- do Canadians really still use in-person travel agencies?? Judging by Google maps pictures, it's even expanded into adjacent spaces in recent years! The only time I see travel agencies around here, they're small, old places that seem to be mostly catering to immigrant communities (admittedly, that last part may still be the case here since the Vancouver area is much more diverse and immigrant-centered than anywhere else I've ever been).
