I'm not sure what the deal was with the giant pile of faux greenery at the bottom of the tree, but it really sticks out in comparison to the tree itself! The palm tree in the background looks rather out of place in this scene too, though this year's winter has felt more like something out of the world of palm trees than anything I've experienced in Seattle before, so any palm trees that have survived the last few normal-ish winters are probably pretty happy this year.
