And looking the other way, here's another view of the abandoned cafe space, right next to the updated sushi counter. All of the natural light over in this part of the store is quite impressive, and it would have been even better if the cafe windows weren't mostly covered! Fred Meyer built some really nice stores in the late 90s/early 00s, and it's quite sad to see this one close.
