This store is essentially set up as one big corridor with separate rooms branching off it, each housing separate departments and/or restaurants. It's a strange design for a grocery store, but it's fitting for Eataly, which is far from a traditional grocery store -- in fact, I feel like this fits Eataly more than their other stores with a more typical open floor plan. The main corridor appears to have originally been outdoor space (considering the exterior-style walls on all sides), and the all-glass ceiling does a nice job of preserving that look. (It would be neat to be in here during a rainstorm!)
