Finally, I had looped around to the access to the upstairs area, and was excited to see that it was still open despite almost everything having been moved downstairs. Sadly, Fred Meyer generally didn't install cart escalators in their two-story stores, so I had to use the elevator and forego the wacky escalator pictures I normally take.
