Looking back towards the emtryway, it looks like some of the locals weren't particularly impressed by the long lines for the two available checkouts either! I wonder what the fancy display filled with paper shopping bags was originally for -- at least, I think Eataly isn't so full of themselves to think that their 20-cent shopping bags need a fancy display like that! My parents came here on one of the other days we were in Turin, and picked up some of the Baratti & Milano chocolate that was on sale on the next checkout over (despite the name, that brand is from Turin); they gave me a bar of the gianduja (hazelnut) chocolate, which was very good!
