Presumably, the only reason the upstairs section was open at all was the Starbucks kiosk, which was still operational -- though the area was looking rather barren, with the books and magazines area cleared out, and even most of the Starbucks merchandise gone. Everything here looked much nicer back in 2019, though I suspect some of the downgrades happened even before the closing sale since books and magazines aren't exactly big sellers these days, especially in grocery stores.
