The food court appears to have once been the entrance courtyard for the Carpano factory, with the coffee and gelato shop in the entrance corridor. It's too bad Eataly didn't reuse this for their entrance, since
it looks much nicer on the outside than their current entrance does! I'm not sure what's up with the stand on the left, which just had some random bottled drinks on offer -- it definitely looks like there used to be more to it.
