Stepping inside, it's immediately obvious why I drove all the way out here: Proto-Lifestyle decor! I always love seeing this decor, but at this point it's been years since I've been able to visit one of these stores. Somehow, this one still has it (at least as of this summer), which must make it one of the last Safeways left with this package! (Back in 2019, there were still several in the Portland area, but I'm guessing most of the others have remodeled since then... who knows, though, since the Portland Division doesn't seem to have done a major remodel wave in recent years (like the Seattle Division did from 2019 through 2022-ish).
