Seriously, if it wasn't for the dates on the "super Saturday sale" poster, you probably wouldn't even be able to tell that this picture wasn't taken on a random day in February or something! JCPenney is the last department store I grew up with that's still around in any meaningful way (the others being Gottschalks and Sears), and while I may not have particularly fond memories of shopping there growing up, it's still sad to see the state of the company these days.
Anyway, that's it for this set! Maybe the next one will be a little more seasonally appropriate... not sure I have any thanksgiving-themed sets, though! 🙂
