Red atrium

I was a bit disappointed that the atrium at the center of the store wasn't really decorated for christmas. There are some pops of red on the upper levels, but they're mostly from merchandise, not decorations. Even more disappointing, the fancy accent lighting along the wood accent piece on the left wasn't on, despite it already being dark out on one of the shortest days of the year, which makes me doubt Macy's ever bothers turning it on. This whole atrium space is really the only special thing about this store's interior, so it's sad to see it ignored like this.
