The hanging light strings work a bit better in the two-story part of the mall since they aren't so far overhead, but I think Westfield missed a rather obvious opportunity by not having them be large enough to hang through to the lower level! I must have been feeling rather daring to take this picture with the obvious security guy right there (though he was probably working for one of the specific stores rather than the mall as a whole).
