The front end setup was pretty typical, apart from the windows above the customer service counter. I wish this picture was better resolution so I could tell if the ads in the old generic register lights were being kept up to date! Interestingly, it looks like these register lights are the completely generic design used in Pastel Arches and earlier packages, rather than the typical Proto-Lifestyle ones that have a bit more design to them.

I know that the register lights were the same as they are here when I visited this store in July, but I also can't remember if the ads were updated or not. I think my mind was elsewhere as I was having to type my phone number into the credit card keypad to use my Safeway (well, Randall's actually!) club card. I normally just use the physical card at Kroger and Randall's when shopping locally, but since my Randall's card is actually a Randall's card, I don't know if it would work at a Safeway so I just used the phone number method instead as opposed to what I normally do. FWIW, my Kroger card did work fine at Fred Meyer back in 2023!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm inclined to think the ads were not updated and maybe they just had plain white panels. That's just a guess or at least a bad memory though so it isn't trustworthy, lol.
I see Blogger's commenting system is still screwed up! Shocking, I know!
