Looking down the back actionway, we find the dairy department (with new doors on its cases), across from a rare sight in a modern Kroger -- an actual aisle 1! Though it appears that the entire produce department was considered aisle 1 (which seems straight out of a 90s-00s Safeway), and for some reason only blank plaques were installed. The Franz/Fred Meyer co-branded display fixture is interesting (though rather appropriate since they're both Portland companies), and it's weird that it was displaying condiments instead of bread!
