I'm used to seafood being a major part of Safeway's service meat departments, so it's strange to see such a tiny seafood section in this store -- maybe that's normal in stores without a butcher block and I just haven't ever noticed since I don't like seafood. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the cases along this wall date back to the 70s, and they're some of the oldest cases I've ever seen in a Safeway -- the new trim on top does help modernize the appearance a little bit, but they still look pretty ancient.
