Before we get going -- I almost missed that yesterday was post number 8,000! I've gone back and added a note there, but if you looked at yesterday's posts relatively quickly, you might have missed it.
At least the down escalator was still working, though not the cart escalator -- I'm pretty sure this was the store where I saw an employee crawling around on the cart escalator to try to get a cart un-stuck (which I wasn't about to take a picture of in case I got the employee in trouble!). One interesting note -- you can see that the escalators to the third floor are still there, just sealed off.
Congrats on post 8,000! I guess it was better that it was about a Safeway, or at least a Sobeyway, than a Walmart, lol.
