It's a bit surprising to see the grey sky in these pictures, but I sure wasn't complaining -- even in May, it was way too hot for me when I was down here! The grey sky matches the grey parking lot and whited-out building facade nicely. And speaking of the parking lot (since it takes up half of this picture!), it doesn't look as bad as you might expect for having been abandoned for 20+ years -- I've seen parking lots at "live" (well, more like "not quite dead") malls that look much worse! That being said, the parking lot was in use for storing cars, carnival rides, and whatnot through much of this store's abandoned lifespan, so perhaps it got some level of maintenance in that time.
