Seafood and meat

The service meat department is in a bumpout in the center of the back wall, reminiscent of a Grocery Palace Albertsons (and in the spot I would expect to find the pharmacy if this was a Safeway 🙂). It's interesting that the seafood sign is above what looks like its own little room -- I wonder if this store originally had a fully separate service seafood section (though if it did, it was eliminated pretty early in this store's lifespan, since nothing has changed since 2018; still, that's entirely possible since, like so many grocery stores, this place opened with all sorts of fancy features that only lasted a few years).
