Also in this area is the typical Murray's Cheese island, still with the original red-and-yellow signage (rather than the newer woodgrain design that's becoming common at Fred Meyer). I wonder what would have happened to these Murray's counters if Kroger had sold off QFC like they wanted to. Thankfully, we don't have to find out (well, unless they still ditch QFC despite the cancelled Albertsons merger).
