For some reason, the appliance department was absolutely packed with fridges at this point. As we'll see later, other parts of the department were a lot less well stocked! It's a little weird to see a gift registry kiosk in the appliance department, but I suppose it wasn't that much less weird when it was in the mattress section.
Huh, maybe I'm just forgetting things since it has been five years since I've been in a 'real' Sears, rather than a Hometown store, but I don't remember the Sears stores around here having a registry kiosk! It's kind of funny that this one was still running. I wonder how many people were running wedding registries at Sears in the 2020s!
ReplyDeleteThe mattress department had about four different locations, upstairs and down, in the last 3-4 years that my local Sears was still around. It seems like that was pretty common at a lot of Sears locations.
Hmm, I feel like this was fairly common, but I could be mixing things up with other stores. It's too bad Blogger's search function doesn't really work anymore, since searching through all the pictures I have of Sears would answer the question!
