The layout of this store is, unsurprisingly, bizarre. Still, I was a bit surprised to find that the parking lot entrance still really looks like the back entrance on the inside -- I would have expected Safeway to set this up as the "main" entrance, with most if not all of the checkouts over here. Anyway, the back door drops you in between the bakery on the left and the liquor department on the right, the latter of which is in a little alcove wrapping around the next-door business, probably a long-ago addition (the way that this store expanded into existing adjacent spaces makes it difficult to tell what's going on based on aerial images).
