Strangely, the only department sign on the back wall is "prepared foods", apparently intended to cover both the deli and the bakery. I've never seen Safeway do combined deli-bakery signage before (at least in recent decades), and this sign is normally used for hot foods and other prepared meals, generally in stores with a larger-than-normal deli setup. This store's setup is pretty much the Lifestyle standard, though it looks like it was expanded a bit compared to before the most recent remodel. (I'm surprised they didn't use the extra space to add a proper bakery counter, though what's there now is still an upgrade compared to the Lifestyle days.)
