Speaking of duplication, the first thing we see heading back to the dead corridor is a larger version of the Sydney Opera House, with what I'm assuming is supposed to be the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background. I'd like to visit Sydney (and Australia in general) some day, but it's a long (and expensive) flight to get there!

I'd also like to visit Australia and New Zealand one day, but as you say, it is a long and expensive trip from here! I am good friends with an Australian who lives over there and I know a few other Australians. The near universal reaction is to say that Sydney and especially Melbourne are terrible and should be some of the last places to visit in Australia, maybe aside from Canberra, lol. I'm sure others would disagree, but then again, I'm not really much of a city tourist these days. It's not that I am anti-city, but I do get my fill of it here locally!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my good friend couldn't wait to quit his job as a civil engineer over a large public transportation project in Melbourne and move to a smaller town. He finally did so and lives in a smaller area in South Australia. There are a lot of interesting natural aspects to Australia and I'm not sure if one would see much of that in the cities.
