And to wrap this up, here's one last look at the original Gabled Marina facade. I like how similar the Vons sign the store has now is to the Safeway sign it presumably originally would have had, just plain block letters in bright red.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this funky little store. It may not be the most exciting store I visited on that trip, but I always love seeing vintage stores that have been adapted to meet modern expectations while retaining their old charm, and this is one of the best examples of that that I've ever come across.
