Despite being shoved in a weird alcove, the liquor department still looks quite nice here -- not surprising, considering that Coronado is a pretty wealthy town. (I'm a bit surprised this store never got Pavilions branding, since Vons is normally considered the lower-end brand in Southern California!) I am a bit surprised that even this store has some locked liquor cases, but they are labeled "high-end", so maybe it's just the thousand-dollar bottles of wine that are locked up. Too bad I can't read the price tags in this picture, though the small print indicates rather large numbers! I like how even this little part of the store still has windows, with the natural light stopping it from feeling like a claustrophobic cave.
