The transitional parts of this mall may not be the most exciting, but I really like how this picture turned out, looking straight through the structural framework to the stairs and escalators up to the movie theater. The pair of security guards on the ground floor surprised me when I first revisited this mall (there wasn't an obvious security presence in 2022), but a bit of scouting around the mall when I first got here (the advantage of staying in an Airbnb right across the street!) made it clear that they spend pretty much all of their time in that exact spot -- when there were two of them, they were chatting; when there was just one, they were staring into space or using their phone. And sure enough, it proved to be trivially easy to avoid them on all of my (several) visits to this mall.
