2 Second Level

I quite like the square wood paneling on the elevator core -- I think that sort of woodgrain finish is really coming back into style these days. A few years ago, it probably would have looked rather dated! The elevators themselves are pretty standard, with those square fixtures that were so popular in the 90s (and which do look quite dated now); it's sad they didn't go with something special like the cool open-shaft rounded glass elevators that were common in 70s/80s-era malls, which would have been pretty awesome in the big atrium here. (The elevators are partially glass on the other side, but it's just not the same.) 

(By the way, this is post #7777 on the blog. Not a milestone number, but that's still fun!)
