It would be cool if Starbucks, at least, had a German-themed sign, since this is the main sign for their business... but no, it's all standard too. Or Safeway could have made the thank you sign, the only localized thing about these cheap Modern remodels, special, but again, nope. (The script font for "Leavenworth" might fool some people into thinking it's custom, but they use that at every store.) I really liked Modern when it came out, largely because the first implementations had plenty of local flair, but the standardized version is a bit too standardized and lacking in charm, just like people complained about with Lifestyle.
