The names on the floor don't correlate with the landmarks on the wall in any way, which seems like a missed opportunity. Maybe I would be better able to identify the landmarks if they were labeled by city!
All of the fancy design here means that the stores in this mall wouldn't have had the ability to build out branded storefronts like you see in a normal mall. I'm not sure how big of a deal that would have been for prospective tenants (the type of high-end brands the mall was trying to attract tend to be pretty strict about their branding), but it does seem like an unforced error by developers that lacked mall experience. It also means I can't be entirely sure if some of these spaces ever had tenants or not! The one in the background with a grate probably did (since the default seems to have been glass facades), but some of the spaces here looked awfully barren from what I could see through the glass.
