Mother's aisle

The layout of this store is definitely odd. Coming from the one entrance, you first walk through the floral department before getting to the service departments on the right-hand wall. I don't think this was always the floral department, though, or at least not all of it -- the short wall on the right is hiding what used to be the Rice Garden, which appears to have been Albertsons' answer to Safeway's China Express offerings. Sometime shortly after my visit, this space was partially reused for an expanded Starbucks. I'm surprised to see that Albertsons bothered to reproduce the Santa Fe decor when they removed the Rice Garden signage!
