I had been wondering if Din Tai Fung's black wood paneling was covering up something from Rainforest Cafe, but no -- while they did have an exterior sign, they otherwise left the mall exterior in its original state. It seems like these customized exterior facades only started showing up in the 2010s, with Din Tai Fung being the first.
