I didn't go into Rite Aid, but from what I could see through the windows, it was looking (predictably) sad. The store was already looking a bit tired when I visited six years ago, and (apart from the new logo on the facade) nothing had been upgraded over that time, not even the faded posters on the front window. And, as became commonplace for Rite Aid well before their bankruptcy, there was lots of empty space on the shelves -- I've seen some people blame that on suppliers not wanting to work with Rite Aid due to their financial issues, but the empty shelf thing goes back much further than that (unless they were quietly struggling a lot worse than they let on in the years before the bankruptcy), and seems likely to be a cause of their issues rather than the effect (in that people stopped shopping at Rite Aid because they didn't have things in stock... plus, a store can't make any money if they don't have anything to sell!). It looks like a portion of the salesfloor may have been blocked off at some point too, with the far door all decaled over (something that wasn't the case when Street View drove by last summer).
