I'm guessing JCPenney originally considered this the back of the store, since the loading docks are back here, but thanks to the new parking garage on the left, this is now probably the busier of the two exterior entrances! All of the brick on the new garage and bridge really clashes with the brutalist design right next door. The lighting over here makes it easier to see the distinctive concrete awning structure, which I like more than the heavier concrete structures more commonly found in brutalist architecture.
