Even at this newly-upgraded store, Safeway is sticking to the sad packaged "bulk" food department. On the plus side, the lunch meats section looks quite nice -- I like the wooden stripes used to disguise the blank space over here. It's a bit surprising that this store has lunch meats here instead of juices like most later Lifestyle-built stores -- I guess we'll have to wait a bit longer to see what this decor does for the juice department.
