It's the start of a new year, and that means it's time for another vacation! And yes, I'm heading back to Italy again, though the complete opposite end of the country from where I was last year. You've probably already noticed that I'm not flying out until Friday, but I'm leaving Seattle tomorrow for some family stuff on my way up to YVR; I'm getting back into Seattle late at night two weeks from today, but it will probably be another couple days before I get back to the blog. And yes, just like last year, there will be a travel-blog series once I get back, which I really enjoy writing. I'm not going to spill the beans on everything I'm planning just yet, but I'm really excited for this vacation, and I should have a lot of cool stuff to show you in a few weeks. Not much retail-related stuff -- probably even less than last year -- but I think there will still be things that are of interest to most of you. If you really are here just for retail stuff, don't worry -- the rest of February probably won't be for you, but I have some pretty exciting retail content planned for the rest of the year. In any case, this is it for right now, but I'll be back (all too) soon!
Have fun on the vacation! It'll be interesting to see some parts of Italy which I'm more familiar with, although it has been a number of years since I've been to northern Italy! Knowing Italy, I'm sure things have not changed a lot though so I'm sure I'll recognize things!
ReplyDeleteIt'll be interesting to hear how Air France compares to Delta. At one time, the European airlines were considered far better than the US ones, but I think things have evened out a lot since the 2000s and maybe even the US airlines might better now. Maybe not though, especially at the front of the plane, but I suppose you'll find out! Given my distaste for modern retail, I think I'll find the airline and airport reviews to be more interesting than anything modern retail, at least in the US, so it'll be interesting to see the blog posts about that. Maybe I'm the only one who feels that way though, who knows, lol.
Safe travels!
