Welcome Queen Anne Neighbors

I had to blur part of it out since the glass reflected my face quite nicely, but I quite appreaciate how Safeway integrated the trio of radio towers into the welcome art -- they're one of the big landmarks of Queen Anne, and something that could never be built today without the same sort of extreme neighborhood outrage that this store faced. The "Queen Anne Neighbors" phrasing almost seems to hearken back to all of that drama over "neighborhood character" too...

I'll note that the map here isn't just showing Queen Anne -- it stretches well over into the Central District on the right (east) side and downtown towards the bottom (south). I'm kind of surprised that they didn't go with a more zoomed-in map, with the store's location marked, something that's surprisingly absent. But maybe they didn't want this to look too much like Kroger's Neighborhood maps!
